Adhoc promotion/Allotment/Transfer in the JTS of IPS Group A Cadre.

Subject             Adhoc promotion/Allotment/Transfer  in  the JTS of IPS   Group A Cadre.

 
Part A

                         The Chief Postmaster General, U.P.Circle, Lucknow has  ordered adhoc promotion of the following Officers to officiate purely on temporary and adhoc basis  on Circle  Level arrangement in the JTS  of IPS Group-A cadre in the Pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 in PB -3 with Grade Pay Rs.5400/- with effect from the date of assumption of Charge for a maximum  period of six months and until further orders or upto  the date of retirement of the Officers concerned whichever is earlier and allotted to the region  as noted against their  name:

1.                     The adhoc promotion of above mentioned officers  to JTS of IPS Group-A Cadre will not bestow upon  them   any claim for their   regular appointment in the said Cadre.  The service rendered on adhoc basis will not count for the purpose of regular promotion to the higher grade.  The Competent Authority may terminate the above adhoc promotion at any time without assigning any reason. 

2.                     The above officers have  been allotted to the Regions against the posts, which is included in STS of IPS Group-A.  The post will stand inter-changed to the JTS of IPS Group-A till they  become eligible and are  regularly promoted/appointed to STS of IPS Group-A where the post will stand inter changed back to STS of IPS Group-A after their  regular appointment to STS of IPS Group-A as and when ordered.  This is in pursuance of Postal Directorate letter No. 4-27/97-SPG dated 06.02.2000.  

3.                     Adhoc promotion will also be governed under the condition of DOPT OM No. 11012/9/86-Estt.(A) dated 24.12.86.

4.                     In case any disciplinary/criminal case is pending against the above officers or any   punishment is current against them, they should not be relieved and a report may be sent to this office immediately

                         The Chief Postmaster General UP Circle,Lucknow has ordered reallotment of Region in respect of following officers  in JTS of IPS Group ‘A’ Cadre:

5.                      The Postmaster General, Agra/Allahabad/Bareilly/Kanpur will kindly issue posting orders in respect of the officers allotted to their Regions and concerned controlling authority will relieve the Officer on local arrangement.  

6.                    The Officers allotted  against vacancies occurring on 31.10.2012 will be relieved in such a way that they will take over the charge on 31.10.2012 afternoon.

                       Charge report should be submitted to all concerned.
